Thanks to the elastic waistband and stretchy cuffs, diaper pants are easy to put on. They have a velvety surface, a wetness indicator, and a next-generation absorbent core with an enhanced absorption layer, making the diaper thin, quickly wicking moisture away, and keeping the baby's skin dry throughout the night. The cuffs can be easily torn on the side, and the adhesive strip makes it easy to wrap the used diaper. Of course, there is also a beautiful design called Sleepy, which brings a smile to the faces of both children and adults.
Diapers are designed to fit the baby as best as possible, without pressing anywhere, to be breathable, and to keep everything in place. All our diapers are dermatologically tested and certified by the National Institute of Public Health - SZÚ.
Pulp
Cellulose has excellent absorbent properties. And when you provide it with the right conditions, it is completely biodegradable. It is made either from annual plants such as flax, cotton, or hemp, or from wood – most commonly spruce in our region. All our diapers meet FSC certification, which guarantees that the wood used for the production of pulp and paper comes from sustainably managed forests. Considering that a child wears a diaper practically all the time during the first two years of life, we consider it important to also monitor the method of pulp bleaching. The bleaching does not involve chlorine, but rather by the TCF (total chlorine free) method, in which oxygen, ozone, or hydrogen peroxide is used. Chlorine leaves a small amount of toxic dioxins in the diaper, which can significantly affect the child's development and impact their immune, hormonal, and nervous systems. Where and why is the pulp in the diaper? It is placed throughout the entire surface of the absorbent system to reliably wick moisture away from the sensitive baby skin.
Japanese SAP
Japanese SAP, or gel with a high content of superabsorbent polymer, is a widespread organic compound that has not been proven to have toxic or harmful health properties. These are tiny crystals that absorb up to 300 times their weight and also absorb odors. The use of the gel is more environmentally friendly because if diapers did not contain this gel, their consumption would be significantly higher, thus increasing the amount of waste produced. SAP is recyclable but unfortunately not biodegradable. However, we can assure you that thanks to its non-toxic properties, it does not burden nature. Where and why is it in the diaper? SAP is antibacterial and absorbs liquid and odor in the diaper's absorption system, so your baby's skin remains dry and protected from rashes and diaper rash. Japanese SAP has even greater absorption capabilities and barely releases absorbed liquid under pressure. It has lower weight and volume, which makes the diapers overall thinner.
LDPE
LDPE is a non-toxic and recyclable plastic that you encounter daily. Where and why is it in a diaper? LDPE is in the diaper as a thin film in the absorption system that prevents fluid leakage. This layer also ensures that the diaper fits well and does not cause pressure. The LDPE film is the diaper layer on which we print the original designs of our diapers using colors. For Kolorek printing, we use water-based inks that are environmentally friendly. The inks consist of water, water-soluble resin, and pigment. The inks contain no harmful substances, and no harmful effects were found during their testing.
Non-woven fabric
It is breathable and lightweight. You can think of it as a very durable fabric created by stretching and folding natural or synthetic fibers. Where and why is it in the diaper? It weaves through the absorbent system, the front breathable fabric, and the diaper's elastic waistband so that the baby's skin can breathe easily underneath.
Moisture Indicator
A strip containing stearic acid, Polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP), an antioxidant, rosin ester resin, and a color indicator. Where and why is it in the diaper? You will find the yellow strip in the middle of the diaper; once it comes into contact with liquid, it changes color to green, so you know it's time to change the baby.
We want to be closer to nature and ship full boxes without padding, so please shop accordingly even number packages.
