You can rely on NIGHT MOMENTS to protect your little ones' skin at every moment and keep it dry and calm throughout the night. The skin of your little ones is cared for by carefully selected materials that come from natural and renewable sources. A beautiful design is also a given.
Pulp
Pulp is a renewable raw material that has excellent properties. It is highly absorbent, soft and firm. It is fluff from soft wood (pine and spruce) grown in Sweden. The wood for the production of pulp comes from sustainably and carefully managed forests and is 100% traceable, thus meeting the FSC certification.
Given that a child is in a diaper practically all the time in the first two years of its life, we consider it important to monitor the way the pulp is bleached. Bleaching does not take place with chlorine, but by the TCF (total chlorine free) method , which uses oxygen, ozone or hydrogen peroxide. Chlorine leaves a small amount of toxic dioxins in the diaper, which can have a significant effect on the child's development and affect his immune, hormonal and nervous systems. Where and why is the pulp in the diaper? It is located over the entire surface of the absorption system to reliably wick moisture away from sensitive baby skin.
SAP
SAP, or gel with a high percentage of superabsorbent polymer, is a widespread organic compound that has not been shown to have toxic or harmful properties. They are tiny crystals that absorb up to 300 times their weight and absorb odors at the same time. The use of gel is more environmentally friendly, because if diapers did not contain this gel, their consumption would be significantly higher and thus the amount of waste produced would increase. SAP is recyclable, but unfortunately not biodegradable. But we can assure you that, thanks to its non-toxic properties, it does not burden nature. Where and why is it in a diaper? SAP is antibacterial and absorbs liquid and odor in the nappy's absorption system, so your baby's skin stays dry and protected from rashes and chafing.
LDPE
LDPE is a non-toxic and recyclable plastic that you encounter every day. Where and why is it in a diaper? LDPE is in the diaper as a thin film in the absorption system that protects against liquid leakage, you can also find it in adhesive tapes. At the same time, this layer ensures that the diaper holds well and does not press. The LDPE film is a layer of diapers on which we use colors to print the original designs of our diapers.
Non-woven fabric
It is a breathable and light fabric. You can imagine it as a very durable textile, which is created by stretching and folding natural or synthetic fibers. Where and why is it in a diaper? It weaves through the entire absorption system, it is also used on fastening straps.
Adhesive
Hot-melt is an adhesive that is made of synthetic rubber. Apply while hot in a molten state. Where and why is it in a diaper? It keeps the diaper together. Glue is also used on the humidity indicator.
Elastane
Elastane is a synthetic polyurethane fiber that is highly flexible. Where and why is it in a diaper? It is used on the side cuffs to make them flexible, hug the baby's legs and nothing leaks anywhere.
We want to be closer to nature and send full boxes without filling, so please shop even number packages.
