The next year with Kolorka went by perhaps even faster than the previous ones. Thanks so much for being with us! Read how their founder Jana Chladová evaluates the past year.
Another year with Kolorka is behind us. What new did he bring?
There were so many changes this year! We launched several new products, opened our own showroom in Prague, expanded the team by a few small members, started publishing our own lifestyle magazine Vinci...
Tell us more about the showroom. Why did you open it?
I see the opening of my own showroom on Oldřichova Street in Prague as a big step forward. For me, it is a place where I can meet our customers and actually see the little ones who wear Kolorky live. Everyone can see the products live, touch them and convince themselves of their quality. The showroom also functions as a delivery point for orders and also a place where we meet with the team that makes Kolorky Kolorky. The entire space is in a clean, minimalistic spirit with distinctive elements in the form of colorful chairs. The interior design was handled by Sabina Sedlaříková, who is also the co-founder and designer of all our KLRK HOME accessories. I will be very happy if you stop by us sometime.
And the biggest change happened in your personal life when you became a mother a few months ago. Did you also like Bruno Vincent Kolorky? Which motif do you like the most?
I kind of made polka dots for myself, I'm a minimalist. But Bruno likes to bring out all Kolorkas, even flowers :-). Since I have to manage many things, what I value most is quality. Saves my time.
what kind of mom are you
I want to be the best mom for him, even if I'm not perfect. I still manage to spend time with him and work at the same time, he comes with me to the showroom and to work meetings outside. He helps me a lot with the way he is. He's always laughing, he likes the hustle and bustle around him. He is my wonderful little boy and there is probably some truth to the fact that a child becomes a part of you and it is so good for him.
And what surprised you the most about the new role?
What surprised me the most was how quickly a child becomes a part of your life. As if it had been there forever. And yet everything is so different. My life will never be the same. It's a journey where many events will happen, but I deal with them as they come. I don't know if this is correct, but it suits me. Actually, just being like that is enough, and then we're both happy.
Back to Kolorka. What news have you prepared over the past year?
In terms of product news, we have launched a completely new line of diapers MOMENTS . Because we are with you in those important moments. The new night diapers with the motif of bunnies and their space adventure are very popular, I'm happy about it. And probably the biggest news that we basically gave ourselves for our birthdays are the new ones wet wipes . They are made of bamboo viscose, 100% biodegradable and smell like cashmere. They are larger than normal napkins and for us it is an absolute summer must-have for every handbag. In our team, the childless section of Kolorek also liked them, everyone will find a use for them. They are simply perfect for me. Just the thing to have, even if you don't need it.
Can you tell us what else children and parents can look forward to?
We always have something going on. I can reveal that there will be new items from the KLRK HOME series already in the summer. And there is something to look forward to! More news will come at the end of the summer. But I won't say more, follow us and you will be among the first to know everything.
Traditionally, every year with Kolorka, you help those in need on the occasion of your birthday. What have you prepared this year?
Kolorka helps continuously throughout the year, but it is true that we always do a more significant campaign around the time of our birthdays. This year we are repeating 10,000 Good Deeds, when together with well-known personalities we support four organizations with which we have long-term cooperation. Specifically, it is Nora Fridrichová's Wardrobe , A drop of hope Foundation fund of Veronika Kašáková and Pink Bubble . In addition, this year we launched a lifestyle VINCI magazine , which you can get on our website or in the showroom, the proceeds from the sale always go to one of the four organizations mentioned above. Kolorky was created out of love for children, which is why we try to help children wherever it makes sense.
